Things You Never Noticed In 10 Popular Logos

By Jessi Stickel on September 9, 2015

Almost every company out there has its own logo to represent itself. There are many company logos that we recognize and know without even seeing what company it is associated with.

What many people do not realize is that companies often hide cool things in their logos. Once you see the hidden object in the logos you will always notice them, so you have been warned!

Here are hidden things in 10 popular company logos.

1. Tostitos

Tostitos is a Frito-Lay company brand of tortilla chips. You may have never noticed this, but the chips you eat while watching the football game actually have little people in the logo.

The two middle “t”s in “Tostitos” are actually people and the dot for the “i” between them is a bowl of salsa. You can also see above them that they are both holding a chip to dip.

2. FedEx

Some of you may already know this one, but the company that delivers your packages has a hidden arrow in the middle of its name. If you look between the “E” and “x” in “Express,” you’ll see an arrow pointing in the right direction.

3. Under Armour

The very popular brand of sports gear and clothing (created by my home state University of Maryland Alumni) has a logo that appears to look like the capital letter “H.” However, this is not an “H,” it is the letter “U” that overlaps the letter “A” representing Under Armour.

4. Apple

The logo of the electronic brand of iPhones, iPads, iPods, Mac books and many other electronics is called Apple. The company’s logo is an apple with a leaf on top and what appears to have a bite out of the side of the fruit.

You may have never realized, but if you would move the leaf of the logo in the bitten spot it would fit perfectly.

5. NBC

NBC is a television broadcasting network based in New York City. Shows like “The Tonight Show,” “Dateline,” and even “The Voice” are aired on the NBC network.

Their logo appears to be several multicolored raindrop shapes; however, if you look in the middle of the logo you can see a head of a peacock, and the raindrop shapes are the feathers.

6. Baskin-Robbins

The ice cream parlor that is known for having a wide variety of 31 ice cream and shake flavors is Baskin-Robbins. Its logo is fairly simple; it appears to be a “B” and “R” in blue and pink, standing for Baskin-Robbins.

Although, if you focus on the pink in the “B” and “R” it creates the number “31″ which refers to their 31 flavors of ice cream. I’m not sure what the company would do if they created a 32nd ice cream flavor!

7. Hershey’s Kisses

The candy brand Hershey’s is most popular for their milk chocolate Kisses. Looking at the logo of Hershey’s Kisses you will notice a hidden Kiss in the word “KISSES.”

If you look between the “K” and “I” in brown there is a chocolate Kiss pointing towards the left.

8. The Washington Capitals

The NHL hockey team of the nation’s capital is the Washington D.C. Capitals. Some of the Capitals’ biggest fans may have never noticed something hidden in their logo.

The mascot of the hockey team is a bald eagle and their logo is a bald eagle in the team’s colors–red, white and blue. If you look closely at the bottom of the eagle, the end of the wings create the outline of the top of the Capital building in D.C.

9. Quiksilver & Roxy

Quiksilver is a clothing store that started out carrying only surf, snowboard and other similar sport clothing. Quiksilver created a woman’s clothing line called Roxy.

The Quiksilver logo is a wave and a smaller mountain in the middle of it, to represent both surfing and snowboarding. The woman’s Roxy logo appears to be a heart, but if you look closely, it is actually two Quiksilver logos tilted together to create a heart shape.

10. Amazon.com

Whether it was Christmas browsing or purchasing your college textbooks, many of you have probably bought something or at least shopped on Amazon.com before. This is another simple logo, with an orange arrow that may be also seen as a smile.

However, the arrow in the logo goes from the “a” to the “z” expressing that Amazon.com has everything from A to Z.
